1. Tyre Ratings: What to Look For These ratings appear on the tyre sidewall and help you judge quality, safety, and performance. Treadwear Rating This tells you how long a tyre is likely to last. The higher the number, the longer it should last. A treadwear of 400 means the tyre will last about 4 times longer than a baseline test tyre. When your car fails to start.

Don’t be stranded. Before everything begins make sure the battery terminal is off mostly with the negative terminal.


Below are things to suspect when your car fails to start.

 1.0 Driving on low fuel The fuel pump of both petrol and diesel cars pick from the tank. When your car is parked on an uphill or a slope. The pump will not pick any fuel.

 2.0 Low battery Common things that deplete the car battery include playing music, when the car is parked, your head lights when the car is not in motion, old battery and loose battery terminal.

 3.0 Blown fuse Connected to the starting system, once your car fails to start, the first thing is to check the fuse first.

 4.0 Corroded battery terminal The battery might corrode due to sulphation on the plates; this fails the movement of current through the system.

 5.0 Loose battery plugs To avoid starting problem, tighten the plugs
